Management and Leadership

This two day programme will provide the opportunity for middle and senior managers to develop their management approach and identify their potential for leadership.

Aim

To develop the capacity and confidence of middle and senior management in their management role

Objectives

By the end of the day delegates will be able to:

  • Evaluate the relationship between effective leadership and management
  • Develop a clear operational vision
  • Evaluate the challenges of and a range of solutions for change management
  • Use coaching techniques to work with resistant or demotivated staff
  • Apply a change management model to an aspect of their work
  • Recognise the importance of workplace culture and the need to build this into a strategy for change
  • Identify a strategy for increasing their circle of influence

The programme is suitable for Managers, team leaders and coaches with a responsibility for supporting staff through change
